Our privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect at SevenBee, how SevenBee uses it, and what choices you have.
When we talk about “SevenBee,” “we,” “our,” or “us” in this policy, we are referring to SevenBee Technologies Ltd., the company which provides the Services. When we talk about the “Services” in this policy, we are referring to our online workplace productivity tools and platform. Our Services are currently available for use via a web browser or applications specific to your desktop or mobile device.
Customer Data: Content and information submitted by users to the Services is referred to in this policy as “Customer Data.” As further explained below, Customer Data is controlled by the organization or other third party that created the workspace (the “Customer”). Where SevenBee collects or processes Customer Data, it does so on behalf of the Customer.
If you join a property or/and create a property within SevenBee, you are a “user,” as further described in our Terms of Service. If you are using the Services by invitation of a Customer, whether that Customer is your employer, another organization, or an individual, that Customer determines its own policies regarding storage, access, modification, deletion, sharing, and retention of Customer Data which may apply to your use of the Services. Please check with the Customer about the policies and settings it has in place.
Other Information
SevenBee may also collect and receive the following information:
Account creation information – Users may provide information such as an email address, phone number, and password to create an account.
Property setup information – When a Customer creates a property using the Services, we may collect an email address, a property address, property photo, role details (such as tenant, landlord or agent), user name for the individual setting up the property, and password. We may also collect administrative team contact info, such as a mailing address.
Billing and other information – For Customers that purchase a paid version of the Services, our corporate affiliates and our third party payment processors may collect and store billing address and credit card information on our behalf or we may do this ourselves.
Services usage information – This is information about how you are accessing and using the Services, which may include administrative and support communications with us and information about the property, tenants, landlords, features, content, and links you interact with, and what third party integrations you use (if any).
Contact information – With your permission, any contact information you choose to import is collected (such as an address book from a device) when using the Services.
Log data – When you use the Services our servers automatically record information, including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website or your mobile app sends when you are using it. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, the address of the web page you visited before using the Services, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your use of the Services, information about your browser configuration and plug-ins, language preferences, and cookie data.
Device information – We may collect information about the device you are using the Services on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you are using, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you are using and its settings.
Geo-location information – Precise GPS location from mobile devices is collected only with your permission. WiFi and IP addresses received from your browser or device may be used to determine approximate location.
Services integrations – If, when using the Services, you integrate with a third party service, we will connect that service to ours. The third party provider of the integration may share certain information about your account with SevenBee. However, we do not receive or store your passwords for any of these third party services.
Third party data – SevenBee may also receive information from affiliates in our corporate group, our partners, or others that we use to make our own information better or more useful. This might be aggregate level information, such as which IP addresses go with which post codes, or it might be more specific information, such as about how well an online marketing or email campaign performed.
When you sign up to use SevenBee, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you use SevenBee, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about SevenBee, new features, new products and other updates.
We use other kinds of information in providing the Services. Specifically:
To understand and improve our Services – We carry out research and analyze trends to better understand how users are using the Services and improve them.
To communicate with you by:
Responding to your requests – If you contact us with a problem or question, we will use your information to respond.
Sending emails and SevenBee messages – We may send you Service and administrative emails and messages. We may also contact you to inform you about changes in our Services, our Service offerings, and important Service related notices, such as security and fraud notices. These emails and messages are considered part of the Services and you may not opt-out of them. In addition, we sometimes send emails about new product features or other news about SevenBee. You can opt out of these at any time.
Billing and account management – We use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.
Communicating with you and marketing – We often need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons. We may also use your contact information for our own marketing or advertising purposes. You can opt out of these at any time.
We work hard to keep the Services secure and to prevent abuse and fraud.
This policy is not intended to place any limits on what we do with data that is aggregated and/or de-identified so it is no longer associated with an identifiable user or Customer of the Services.
SevenBee is a trading name of SevenBee Technologies Ltd, company registered at Flat 8 Windsor Court, 1 Pennyroyal Drive, West Drayton, UB7 9GX. SevenBee takes overall responsibility for managing your data, and is what is legally known the ‘data controller’ and ‘data processer’ – you can read more about our responsibilities by visiting the Information Commissioners Office’s website.
If at any point your change your mind about using this service or just want to update your profile, please contact us by emailing [email protected] and we will process your request within two working days. It is our duty to make it easy for you to withdraw consent and have our data erased.
Please note that we retain data for 12 months from deletion of your account in order to comply with our legal responsibilities (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016).
From time to time we may need to update these terms in order to comply with changes in legislation so suggest that you check this page periodically.

Under the GDPR, requests for personal information can be made free-of-charge. When you ask for your data, we will provide the information within one month.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to register a property, verify your credit card, verify your email address, change your payment plan, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave SevenBee’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.
Payment details are for subscription charges. Please note that SevenBee does not store your credit/debit card details, which are instead managed by our payment handler Stripe. You can read about Stripe’s security credentials here: https://stripe.com/spukl/legal.
When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, or altered.
SevenBee uses a technology called ‘cookies’ across all of its websites in order to deliver the best possible user experience. Cookies are files that are stored on your device every time you visit a website and enable us to understand your preferences and habits.
Cookies do not contain person-identifiable information such as credit/debit card or personal contact details.
Our websites are set to ‘allow cookies’ and if you browse our sites you consent to this. If you would prefer to deactivate cookies, you can do so by updating your browser settings. SevenBee uses three types of cookies:
Session cookies: These enable us to track your movement across our websites and save information to make life easier. For instance, a session cookie might save an item to your shopping basket, without which you would be forced to order each item separately.
